CANCELLED due to lack of numbers.Evegate Ashford holiday club

Any moneies paid out will be refunded the same way as paid.  We are sorry for any inconveinience.  This decision was not taken lightly, and we wanted to leave those with work comitments time to find another holiday club.

We offer fun outdoor woodland and natural play session for children aged 5 – 11 during some days of the school holidays between 10am – 3pm.

Dates are:- 30, 31 May & 1st, 2nd June.

During the day we get stuck into all sorts of exciting outdoor activities, shelter building,
natural crafts, bug hunts, fire building and marshmallows toasting to name just a few!
The sessions are very child-led so if your children come along with ideas of things they
would like to do we will try our best to accommodate them.

Children will need to bring their own hearty packed lunch with refillable drinks bottle (as
drinking water is on site so they can refill them) and of course, must come dressed
appropriately for a day in the woods (waterproofs and sturdy shoes are a must!

The cost is £27.50 a day. You will be emailed a membership form to fill in  and bring it with your child so
we have all relevant information.  If you do not have printing facilities you will need to fill it in on the day.

BushKrafts booking system is still old fashioned.  Deposits need to be paid via a Sum Up payment link.  The balance needs to be paid on the day via either card or cash.

We run all weathers except high winds.  If we have to cancel for ANY reason all monies will be fully refunded refunded.

Basic Bushcraft Camps

These sessions are aimed at family groups, Scouting, Small School Groups.

All "basic" equipment will be supplied like tent, pots and pans etc.  Your group will have to errect your tent in a suitable area, build your "no trace" fire (if small group you can use the main fire circle).

These sessions will also have a qualified leader on hand 24Hrs for any help and advice.  You will need your own pillows and clothing for the full time you are there.  You can supply your own sleeping bags if you wish, if not we do have a number of sleeping bags.

If you really wish to go wild, you can try a hammock with tarp rain cover.

Scout and Guide Groups

As you usually registered charity and have your own equipment and leaders, we charge accordingly and in line with local scout campsites.  We are also Cub Scout leaders with valid scout DBS, Archery Instructor and Rifle instructor with all our own equipment for use by your groups if required.  (At present our only range is based in Chatham)

We do have basic facilities but we are usable on a normal scout nights away permit.

There is only one fully flushing toilet on site at the top of the woodland.  There is however a chemical toilet emptying point if you wish to add more.

There is fresh water available but it is approx 300yds from woodland.  The track is drivable so as not having to carry water along way.
